The tan has officially faded and it's time for my face to face (pun intended) the brutality of cold weather. Dryness, paleness, redness, itchiness...does these sound familiar or am I alone on this one? I was never a believer of changing your beauty products according to the season, but the older I get the more I realize it's a necessity. Now I don't consider myself a beauty expert, but trial and error has led me to the products below and currently stand as favorites in my beauty routine, as well some oldies that I continue to go back to again and again.
A estas alturas, cualquier resquicio de moreno ha desaparecido totalmente y mi cara se enfrenta de nuevo a temperaturas gélidas. Sequedad, palidez, picores, rojeces...le suena esto a alguien o soy yo la única? Nunca me había creído eso de tener que cambiar de prodcutos con el cambio de estación, pero cuanto mayor me hago, más le encuentro la lógica y la necesidad! No soy para nada una experta en productos de belleza pero entre prueba y error he llegado a determinar algunas de mis novedades favoritas y otros, que a pesar del tiempo, no puedo dejar de usar.

Durante el verano estoy mas abierta a probar distintas hidratantes pero en invierno, siempre es la misma. No sólo me deja la piel de la cara como la de un bebé, sino que además me aporta luz, lo que definitivamente es un bonus despues de 5 días sin ver el sol. Su precio de $40 en el mundo de las cremas, es un chollo.

Benefit Dr. Feelgood Balm - This balm has become my little secret for weekends. It mattes your complexion while reducing the appearance of fine lines and pores, therefore making it perfect for days when you don't want to wear a lot of makeup but still want to look presentable.
Este bálsamo se ha convertido en mi secreto de fin de semana. Elimina brillos, reduce la apariencia de los poros y arrugas. Es perfecto para eso días en los que sin mucha chapa y pintura queremos estar presentables.

Benefit They're Real! Mascara - This is my mascara of choice! It lengthens and separates the lashes plus it never smudges. This a year round favorite for me.
Mi rimmel preferido! Alarga y separa y además nunca se derrite. Es mi favorito los 365 días del año.

Stila Convertible Color Blush (Petunia Color) - I once heard from a little birdie (aka Diana) that powder blush is not good for the skin. Since then I've been keeping my eye out for cream based blushes, which apparently are a lot harder to find. Anyway after some extensive internet search, I've finally found a new winter favorite. The color gives of the perfect pink cheeks as if you were standing in the cold a second too long. Plus it can also work as a lip stain. Sweet!
Una vez me dijo un pajarito (Diana) que el colorete en polvo no era bueno para la piel y sobretodo en invierno (la seca más). Desde entonces no les he quitado ojo a los coloretes en crema pero son mucho mas difíciles de encontrar. Después de una intensiva y extensiva búsqueda, por fin encontre este. Te deja el perfecto color rosado, como si huebieras pasado en el frío un poco más de lo necesario pero mona. Y puede usarse en los labios. Perfecto!

MAC Lipstick (Dark Side) - And finally, my beauty post wouldn't be complete without the mention of my current favorite lip color. Dark Side by MAC does just that, and brings out my darker sultrier side of me.
Y por último, mi post de belleza no podía acabar sin antes mencionar mi barra de labios preferida en este momento. El Lado Oscuro de MAC, como su nombre indica, saca mi lado...sinuoso.
