Photo Flashback

Para las incrédulas, para las que todavía no nos conocen, para las que creen que escribimos por escribir, proponemos por proponer; queremos demostrar que todo lo que incluimos en nuestro blog es un reflejo a tiempo real del vestido con el que estamos soñando, de los zapatos para los que estamos ahorrando, de lo que tenemos en nuestra lista de la compra y de la próxima tendencia que queremos incorporar a nuestro armario. Con la foto dejo prueba de ello.

Desde que ví la foto, lo quería todo. Pero al contrario que Julia Restoin Roitfeld, no me puedo permitir que todo sea de diseñador y como solo llevo vestidos en verano, tampoco quería gastar mucho dinero en uno y encima estampado. Los complementos son lo más importante puesto que son los que transforman un look nada mío en mío total y además los re-utilizaré millones de veces. Esta es mi interpretación.

Moraleja (y base de nuestra filosofía): inspírate en los looks que te gusten y ten la mente abierta para transfórmalos y hacerlos tuyos. Al final, a lo mejor sólo se parecen en esencia pero habrás creado un look nuevo, personal e intransferible.

For those who may not know us yet, and those who believe that we write only to write, we want to demonstrate that everything we include in our blog is a real-time reflection of the way we dress. From the dress we dream about at night to the shoes we are saving for, what we have on our shopping list and the next trend that we want incorporate into our wardrobe. My picture proves it. 

Since I first saw the picture of Julia Restoin Roitfeld, I wanted it all. But unlike her, I can't allow myself to buy everything designer. Typically I only wear dresses during the summer, I did not want to spend a lot of money on it, especially not a printed one. The accessories, in this case, are more important since they are the one's that transform the look from not me to totally me. It's also more likely that I wear these pieces again and again. This was my train of thought and this is my interpretation. 

Moral of the story (and the basis of our philosophy): Be inspired by the looks you like and keep an open mind to transform them and make them yours. In the end it may only look alike in essence but you will have created a new look, personal and unlike anyone else's.
